Formerly as Typhlomys cinereus.
Geographic Distribution
Known from northernmost Vietnam (Mt. Hoang Lien, Chapa) and middle and southern Yunnan Province, China (Mts. Ailao, Huanglian, and Wuliang). The known distribution is limited to the west of the Red River, which might be the eastern distribution boundary.
