Congo (SE Shaba Prov. and formerly in western Rift Valley), Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, N Somalia, South Africa, Swaziland, NE and SE Sudan, Tanzania, NE and SW Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe. Former or present occurrence in Lesotho unconfirmed.
