South Africa, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, C and S Mozambique, Angola, Dem. Rep. Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, S Sudan; limits unknown. Also recorded from N Botswana, but unclear whether these records represent D. incomtus, D. cabrali, or both species.
