Coastal areas of Mexico, extending into Arizona in the west and Texas in the east.
Notes
This house cat sized beauty has been over hunted for its fur, which is marked with streaks and spots to help conceal it in shady, vegetated areas where it sleeps during the day. It feeds on large invertebrates and small vertebrates, especially rodents.
